Six-year-old Catherine loved all animals. But it was butterflies which truly mesmerized her. When one would land on her finger she would whisper, “Tell your friends that I am kind” and watch as her words would float into the sky on the butterfly’s wings. Sadly, her voice was forever silenced at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT when a gunman took the lives of six adults and 20 children. For over a decade Tracy-Locke has been partnering with the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary to help spread Catherine’s message of kindness.
I collaborated with Tracy-Locke's CVH team to help develop a video showcasing the work on the Catherine Butterfly activation. With the help of a team of animators, I lead direction of the video through storyboards, animatic, motion graphics, audio background tracks, and the video edit.
